About Community Clay – Vancouver Pottery & Ceramics Studio
Community Clay Studio is a private artist-run pottery and ceramics studio in Vancouver, BC, located at 6th Ave and Columbia St. Designed to be a bright and tranquil space, our 4,050-square-foot studio provides Vancouver pottery enthusiasts and artists with a welcoming environment to create, learn, and grow. Our space is fully wheelchair accessible, and we are committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive community.

Pottery Classes & Workshops in Vancouver
We specialize in small-group pottery classes and ceramics workshops, ensuring a personalized learning experience for every student. Each class is limited to 8 students, allowing for direct one-on-one instruction to develop techniques efficiently.
We offer:
- Wheel-Throwing Classes – Learn the fundamentals of shaping clay on the wheel.
- Hand-Building Classes – Explore sculpting and functional pottery techniques without a wheel.
- Specialty Pottery Workshops – One-time or multi-session workshops (2–3 hours each) covering introductory to advanced techniques in ceramics.
